The TMJ School of Dance is thrilled to expand our mission of excellence in dance education to Alexandria, Louisiana—the hometown of our Founder and Executive Artistic Director, Terrance Johnson.

We are proud to bring world-class dance training to Central Louisiana, serving students and families in Alexandria, Pineville, Marksville, Bunkie, Boyce, Leesville, Lecompte, and surrounding communities.

This expansion marks an exciting new chapter as Louisiana becomes our primary home, while our thriving Dallas Extension and Outreach Programs continue to serve the North Texas region with the same excellence and impact.

We are honored to grow our reach and deepen our commitment to accessible, high-quality training for aspiring dancers across both states.

North Texas Giving Day is September 18, 2025

The TMJ School of Dance is proud to be a part of North Texas Giving Day—the largest community-wide giving event in the nation, led by the Communities Foundation of Texas and sponsored by Amazon.
​
North Texas Giving Day is Communities Foundation of Texas’ largest community initiative, connecting donors with causes they care about most.
​
Thanks to generous sponsors and supporters, 100% of each donation goes directly to participating nonprofits, as all transaction and technology fees are fully covered.
​
This annual event supports more than 3,200 nonprofits across 20 North Texas counties, spanning over 25 cause areas.
In 2024 alone, the program raised more than $70 million to strengthen and uplift our local communities.
The TMJ School of Dance is honored to participate again this year, continuing our mission to provide equitable access to high-quality dance education for youth in historically underserved communities.
